Russia: Putin arrives at iconic Luzhniki Stadium for start of WC trophy relay

Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Saturday, where he took part in the launch of the FIFA World Cup 2018 trophy relay. The relay route includes 24 Russian cities and 50 countries across the globe. At the ceremony, Putin was joined by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, former Brazilian football player Bebeto and French football player David Trezeguet Luzhniki Stadium will host the opening match of the World Cup, as well as the Final.
