An incredible week for UH as women’s volleyball claims the Big West Conference Championship over the weekend and will now head to Washington for the first round of the NCAA Championship Tournament. • Rainbow Wahine volleyball took down CSUN to be crowned champions but fell in the season finale to UC Santa Barbara in five sets. They’ll now head to Seattle, Washington, to take on Mississippi State in the first round of the NCAA tournament this Friday. • Men’s basketball split their two games in the Las Vegas Classic but had strong showings from Mate Colina and Junior Madut. • Women’s basketball battled early injuries but played well in the Rainbow Wahine Showdown, picking up a win against Eastern Illinois. • The Paniolo Trophy is back on O‘ahu as football captured its first win in Laramie, Wyoming, since 1991.
