This is always one of the first questions I am asked when I invite someone to join as a coach. I completely understand why they are asking this. When I was thinking about signing up, the first thing I googled was “How much does it cost to be a Beachbody Coach?”. So, let me try to explain this without totally confusing you. First of all, let’s talk about the initial sign-up/starter fee. When you first sign up to be a coach, you have three options: pay a one-time $39.95 fee, buy a challenge pack, or have purchased a challenge pack in the past. The one-time $39.95 start up fee will take care of your first month’s fees and the company will provide you with four websites to help you work your business. Buying a challenge pack would give you a workout (P90X3, 21 Day Fix, Piyo, etc.), shakeology, and 30 day free club membership all in one. The challenge packs range from around $140-$250 depending on which workout program you choose. If you choose to buy a challenge pack, your initial sign up fee of $39.95 is waived and you only pay the price of the challenge pack. Also, if you have ever bought a challenge pack in the past, you can get the initial fee waived as well. If you previously purchased a challenge pack and then decide to become a coach, you pay the $39.95 when you sign up, and then you fill out a form saying you’ve already bought a challenge pack and Beachbody will refund your money. So, what’s the best option you may ask? In my opinion, the best and most cost effective option is to buy a challenge pack. If you do not buy a challenge pack you are basically just throwing away $39.95. Plus, more than likely if you are going to work the business, you are going to need to be doing a workout and drink Shakeology everyday (be a product of the product). The answer to this depends on whether or not you are going to work the business or if you just signed up to enjoy the 25% discount on your products. In either case, you will pay a $15.95 monthly fee. If you are just wanting a discount on your products this fee is the only thing you need to worry about. If you want to work the business you will also have to purchase or sell around $55 a month of products in order to stay active. Of course, if you are getting Shakeology every month this will already be taken care of. Once you advance in rank to Emerald (2 personally sponsored coaches under you) you will also want to be a part of the Beachbody Club in order to get the FREE customers the company is going to start sending you. The club membership fee is $38.87 every three months. In addition, to qualify for Success Club, which is a program where the company sends you FREE Shakeology customers, you must have 90 home direct points.
