Many different materials have been in used in an effort to improve the appearance of hands. Sculptra is used in the hands as an off label procedure. Sculptra is one of these fillers. It helps promote collagen production in the skin. One of its side effects is the possible formation of lumps called Nodules. These nodules can be difficult to manage. If injections like steroids (kenalog), saline injections or 5-FU do not resolve the nodules then surgical excision can be used as a last resort. The following video shows that procedure.
