CV FRONT axle REMOVE and INSTALL Half shaft front wheel drive axle

This classic video still is useful even in 2015 for removing and installing your CV Axle or front wheel drive axle. Hello internet! I put together this video to try to help you figure out how to work on your car and fix it by removing and installing your CV halfshaft. Some people call them cv axles or front driveshafts. Fix your car!!! If you are having issues with your CV boots being ripped and/or leaking this will give you some insight. If you are a beginner or a novice at working on cars BEWARE!!! Working on cars can be extremely dangerous. Take safety precautions and do all of the work slowly. BUY A CAR MANUAL. Like a haynes or chiltons manual. I personally have purchased both of those brands and have found that they are pretty good for what you pay for. This partiuclar style shown in the video isnt really the style that is in the books. There are fewer parts taken off using this method. I see no reason to completely take off the brake assembly and the strut and the tie-rods and all the other stuff many of the books call for.
