ICE, Papers, DREAMs and WAR
2.1 million undocumented youth live in the shadows of our nation. 26% of them in California. 5% of them have associates degrees or better. Most are still in high school, grade school or working low-wage jobs. Most are rarely included in conversations about their future. Project 67Sueños seeks to document the undocumented. The Migration Policy Institute estimates that close to 67% of undocumented youth would not be able to access the college path to papers offered by the 2010 DREAM Act. These youth would have to choose between the shadows of our country or the Deserts of the Middle East occupations that this Nation wages. This video introduces one of 1.4 million youth and 1 of 67Sueños.
