1 - JEE Advanced 2015 Exam Date Sunday, May 24, 2015 Paper 1 09:00 to 12:00 IST Paper 2 14:00 to 17:00 IST 2. Candidates who wish to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2015 must write Paper -1 of JEE (Main) 2015 which is likely to be held in the month of April 2015 3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPEARING IN JEE (ADVANCED) 2015 Criterion 1 - – Performance in JEE (Main) 2015 : The candidate should be among the top 1,50,000 (all categories included) in JEE (Main) 2015 Criterion 2 – Age limit : Born on or after October 1, 1990 if belonging to the GEN or OBC - NCL category Born on or after October 1, 1985 if belonging to the SC , ST or PwD category Criterion 3 - Number of attempts :A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. JEE (Advanced) 2015 should be either the candidate’s FIRST attempt OR the SECOND consecutive attempt. Criterion 4 – Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination : The candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in all the subjects in either 2014 or 2015. Criterion 5 – Earlier admission at IITs/ISM : The candidate should NOT have taken admission (irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program) OR even accepted admission by paying admission fee at any of the IITs or ISM in the past; even candidates whose admission was cancelled are NOT eligible 4. JEE Advanced 2015 Question Papers JEE Advanced will be of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2 Each paper will have three separate sections viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
