What happens when a kid grows up speaking a complete different language from their own parents? We always hear ethnic minorities in HK having difficulties in communicating and connecting with the locals. But rarely do we speak about the problem between a parent and child when the tables are turned. Rosemary, a Nepalese student in HK, has been able to speak fluent Cantonese from an early age. But behind her commendable ability, she shares the challenges she faces in communicating with her own family. Special thanks to the cutest Rosemary for being so open (an adorable!)
