NIKKA PURE MALT RED THE NIKKA BRAND Founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru after which the first Nikka whisky was launched in 1940. Nikka is owned by Nikka Whisky Distilling Co with it’s headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. The Nikka Whisky Distilling Co owns several whisky related facilities including the Yoichi distillery, established in 1934, the Miyagikyo distillery, est in 1969 and the Ben Nevis distillery in Scotland. THIS WHISKY It is a No Age Statement that contains malt whiskies from the Yoichi & Miyagikyo (mainly) distilleries. It is a Pure Malt also known as a Blended Malt or Vatted Malt.
