Chicago Terminal Railroad Goose Island Street running action. HD
Today I saw the Chicago Terminal Railroad Run. The Chicago Terminal runs their ILSX 900 out of North Ave. Yard about once a week as needed. Today Friday December 23 they ran to General Steel, and Big Bay Lumber on Goose Island To pick up an empty CenterBeam Bulkhead Flat. I told Frank and Robby about this job and they both came out. Business has slowed down a lot seance the CTR took over back in 2007. But they still have 5 customers around their line. Here are the Different shot scenes... Shot... #1 Going South after Dropping of a hopper car a General Iron, they continue south. #2 Pulling off of the Kingsbury street running branch they switch south, heading to goose island #3 Here they are street running down the middle of the street toward big bay lumber for the empty lumber car #4 Coupling up to the WC empty, they Blow their horn to cross the busy street and head north. We talked to the crew a wile because they had time to kill. They were coool guys*.haha #5 They head north over the Chicago River on the Cherry Ave Bridge, blowing their horn for the traffic on north ave. after hanging out with frank for a little, me and robby went to a spot I knew about just south of the CTR tracks #6 The CTR Pulling over that old swing bridge over the River. #7 The Chicago Terminal finishes running for the day, and switches their one empty around North yard.
