If you take a walk down Randolph east of Michigan Ave in downtown Chicago you are walking along the left field line of what used to be Lake Front or Union Base-Ball Park. Home to the Chicago White Stockings a team that went on to become the Chicago Cubs while the name went to a team that Charlie Comisky brought to Chicago in the early 20th century. This early team was a group of vagabonds having three different homes and names (White Stockings, Colts & Orpahns) before ending up as the Cubs and playing up at the corner of Clark & Addison.
