"Heat Wave" fue una de las primeras canciones para ejemplificar el estilo de música más tarde llamado "Sonido Motown". Originalmente grabada por: Voz principal - Martha Reeves Coros - Rosalind Ashford y Annette Beard Instrumentación de los Funk Brothers. Aunque nos gusta mucho el tema original, para la grabación nos hemos inspirado un poco en algunos detalles de la versión de “The Who”, cambiando incluso algunas partes de la letra, variando la estructura del tema y haciendo las contestaciones míticas de los “oh yeah!”.
