Gen07it - Two Cultures

Notice: It is good on a bad sound system and bad on a good sound system... The original idea came to me after trying to mix the Subject 13 Faith with Funky Technicians Above and Beyond! I made the intro after sampling and reworking several funk vinyls. The intro ambience is from Wax Doctor Offshore Drift. Afterwards, the Subject 13 Faith drum break was reworked and for the background music i sampled the Ollano Latitudes. The darker ambient music was sampled from the Russian vinyl (see my Videos Magnifique and Searchin for Dead Calm). Then, the Above and Beyond drum break was reworked and combined with ambient music sampled from Greek Vinyl of 30s-50s as well as the Ominus Clouds from Radioaktive Kids. The guitars at the middle and the guitar bass was sampled from Pink Floyd Echoes. Lastly, i used the Mariah Carey "Now that i know" vocals. Also there are two samples from Lynn Collins. Enjoy!!!
