labor and delivery

update on whats been going on along with my labor and delivery Hey guys my labor and delivery was hard. so i went in on thursday the fifth at 4 oclock pm. i then got the cathetor put inside me at around 6 oclock pm. which killed it made me extreamly crampy and wasnt a good experience. I then got nubaine and stayed the night at the hospital. The next morning at around 8 am i got checked to see if the cathetor had worked and sure enough it did. I was 4 cm dilated , which ment it was time to break my water. which was the grossest thing ever. it just kept leaking out of me , it honestly didnt stop. so then they wanted me to start walking , after they broke my water i thought labor was going to be a peice of cake because it hadent started to hurt yet , little did i know pain was on its way. soon after about an hour with no pain they started me on oxytocin , which after about 30 mins got my contractions going , i made it to 6 cms before i requested the epideral. it worked for about an hour then randomly stopped working by the time they tried to upgrade it , it was too late i was 10 cms and this baby was coming. i pushed for 2 and a half hours. they had to use the vacum, i didnt get cut and only got 5 stiches thank god! i hemmoraged right after and needed to be put on oxygen i almost died and needed 3 blood transfusions but he was so worth it. he weighed 9.5 and was born at 9:11 pm. welcome to the world riley . mommy loves you.
