On the heels of the wildly successful AEW Double or Nothing debut card show last month, AEW Fyter Fest is a collaborative effort with the CEO Gaming convention in Florida. Run-Time: 2 hours and 30 minutes Date: June 29th 2019 Arena: Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida Attendance: 9,312 (The Elite announces 20,000 as a jab at WWE) Commentary: Jim Ross, Goldenboy, and Excalibur Ring Announcer: Justin Roberts Overall show grade: GREAT SHOW! (B+) An overall fun, productive, and effective show. It may have one or two dips in matches or segments, but overall it did not harm the enjoyment. Majority of the matches were good, overall booking and storylines were kept fresh, and it did its job keeping the viewers excited for upcoming shows as well as make you interested to tune in next week. Kenny Omega attacks Jon Moxley after his match – getting some revenge from Double or Nothing. After the attack, the show closes on Jon Moxley smiling. (A-) The Elite vs. Lucha Bros & Laredo Kid Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks vs. Pentagon Jr and Fenix & Laredo Kid Winner: The Elite Rating: Fantastic! (A) Being the Elite came out dressed as Street Fighter characters: Asuma, Ryu, and Ken. Awesome. Afterwards, Shawn Spears came in and CLOCKED Cody with an unprotected chair shot that looked absolutely brutal. It busted him open hard way and it was sold like Cody got a concussion. Even wrestlers, technically friends of Cody, came out to help out him – escorting him to the back. Cody vs. Darby Allin Winner: No contest. 20 Minute Time Limit Draw Rating: GREAT!
