CN#316 with 8 Euro Cargo locomotives Halifax NS 21 January 2010 HD

CN ran a special train from Toronto to Halifax to bring 8 Euro Cargo "Class 66" JT42CWRM locomotives for export on a Jumbo ship to Europe. The train was pulled by CN Dash 9 2529 and the train had an idler flat on each end. The locomotive ran round its train at Basin Yard in Halifax and after dropping off one idler flat pushed the locomotives down a steep grade onto Pier 9. The train is seen on 21 January 2010 at Windsor Junction, Bedford Basin entering Rockingham Yards, Fairview Junction and on the lead to Pier 9. Conductor from Moncton to Halifax was Luc Doiron.
