Ramaphosa appoints Hermione Cronje as NDPP investigating directorate head HD
President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed Advocate Hermione Cronje as head of the Investigating Directorate in the Office of the National Director of Public Prosecutions. The president created the directorate - which is similar to the defunct Scorpions - in March, to focus on fraud and corruption, and cases emanating from the state capture commission of inquiry.
