The kit includes a pair of 3-inch LED lights, brackets and all the hardware needed to mount them to the Jeep’s windshield hinge. It’s important to note that the light’s wiring just have pig-tail ends and will need an optional wiring harness or your choice of wiring to complete the install. In addition, the lights come with a great 5-year limited warranty. Heavy-Duty Construction: The kit includes a pair of metal black powder coated brackets that attach to the windshield hinge. The two 3-inch 16 watt LED lights feature four CREEE diodes that provide 30,0000 hours of illumination in a driving light beam pattern. The housing for the lights are constructed from a light-weight aluminum housing that is coated in a black powder coat finish. Bolt-On Installation: This install of the Rugged Ridge windshield LED light kit is straightforward and doesn’t require any drilling or modification to the Jeep, making it a bolt-on installation. The windshield brackets that come with the kit simply bolt onto the windshield hinge and the LED lights attach to the brackets. From there, you will need to run the wiring that will power the lights. Overall the installation should take about an hour to complete, with basic hand tools.
