The Wizard of oz-Good News of 1939 (part 2) HD

80 years ago to this day, on June 29th,1939, MGM Promoted "The Wizard of Oz" on the Radio program "Good News" the audio still exists, I made this video with Visuals Of the film with movie clips, production photos and 16mm archival home movies. The first part is a montage of behind the scenes radio skits of Judy Garland getting the role of Dorothy and learning the Song "Over the Rainbow" the second Half is of the principle cast members singing their songs from the Film. Judy singing over the rainbow, ray Bolger singing if I only had a brain, and Bert Lahr singing if I only had the nerve. Along with a radio rendition of munchkin melody Ding Dong The Witch is dead and Merry Old Land of Oz. I hope you enjoy this, have a cup of hot or iced coffee and enjoy!
