Don’t Fall Victim to the Lumberjack Sweep Again! HD

The lumber jack sweep was one of the first sweeps I learned as a white belt. I would use it all the time! I still do if I see it open. I was using this sweep but at the time so was everyone else. So I would start baiting them. I would stand up and hope they would open their legs and try it. Because as soon as they did I weave my hand under and start pressuring forward to pass. I did something similar to this in my last tournament. Bait the sweep be ready than explode out. I actually started using this in mma because I was really good at ground and pound I would purposely go to guard just to stand with my hips forward and rain down punches.
