Molle Tab How To | Mystery Ranch HD

16.08.2018
All of our current fire packs feature a Molle accessory attachment system on the belt. This is one of our most common accessories, the FTW pouch, and this video is a little how-to on attaching this lattice system in the belt. So first, your accessory is going to come with two strips of one-inch web that are woven. First thing you want to do is unweave those two strips of web and get them loose. Now you’ll notice that there is a little stiffened piece of plastic in the end of each piece of web, that is called a tuck tab. What we do next is something similar to building the lattice crust on an apple pie, you take the piece of web and weave it through. We are going to then take that web and run it back through, a horizontal web on the accessory piece. Then, take each piece of web and run it back through the belt. You continue that until you’ve completed the web ladder on the accessory. The trick with our system with the tuck tabs is finishing it! Take your little stiffend end and push it through the second highest row of web, then curl it around, and tuck it back behind the last row of web where it’ll be secured. This accessory attachment system is impressively secure, especially in the direction that you’ll experience the forces when you’re carrying things on your belt. It really tightens as it’s used, worn, and more stuff is added.
