PREM NAAM HAI MERA, PREM CHOPRA STILL GOING STRONG HD

The most loved and respected bad boy of Bollywood, Prem Chopra, completed his 60 years in Hindi film industry on December 14, 2017. On the occasion, a large number of film personalities turned up to wish Chopra. Among those spotted were Jeetendra, Rakesh Roshan, Mukesh Rishi and his son-in-law Sharman Joshi. Born to a Punjabi Hindu family on September 23, 1935, Chopra has acted in over 300 films in a career spanning 60 years. He played antagonist in 19 films with the then superstar Rajesh Khanna in lead and most of the films were box office hits. Not many know that his father wanted him to be a doctor or IAS officer. But he was keen to make a career in films. His first break was a Punjabi film Chaudhary Karnail Singh which earned him the National Award. It was a big hit at that time. He established himself as a villain after Teesri Manzil and Upkaar and since then there has been no stopping for him. Some of his best films include: Shaheed, Upkaar, Purab Aur Pashchim, Doli, Do Raaste, Kati Patang, Daag, Ajnabi, Prem Nagar, Do Anjaane, Jaadu Tona, Kala Sona, Dostana, Kranti, Oonche Log and Phool Bane Angaarey. Prem Chopra had a very brief role in Raj Kapoor’s film Bobby. But his dialogue "Prem naam hai mera, Prem Chopra" became very popular. His other famous dialogues are “Main wo bala hoon jo sheshay se pathar ko todte hai" from Souten, "Main jo aag lagata hoon use boojhana bhi jaanta hoon" from Kati Patang, "Jinke Ghar Sheeshe Ke Hote Hain Woh Batti Bhujakar Kapde Badalte Hai" from Souten, "Sharafat aur imaandaari ka certificate ye duniya sirf unhe deti hai jinke paas daulat hoti hai" from Aag Ka Gola, "Tu Madhuri se thodi kum aur Mandakini se thodi zyada hai" from Aaj Ka Goonda Raj and "Nanga nahayega kya aur nichodega kya" from Dulhe Raja.
