ZipTie Dyno: R56 Mini Cooper Tuning with Cobb Access Port and Mustang Dyno HD

My 2007 R56 Mini Cooper got a Garret Turbo, but with out the software to tell the ECU to do with it I actually had less power not more. The guys at ZipTie helped me tune the system to get the most power I could out of it. The results were spectacular. They took the car and added nearly 100 horses to it. While I was at the dyno we never quite got my Boost Controller figured out, but when I got back to AZ if figured out what was wrong with that which got me even more horsepower than when I left. The car pulls hard and will smoke a stock Mistubishi Lance Evo or Subaru WRX STI, and it does so while making some really beautiful noises. These upgrades did come at some cost, my Fuel economy fell from 36 combined to 28 combined. Still good gas mileage, but not what she was at. Car Tuning is part art and part science, but TJ and the ZipTie Crew know their way around Cobb Tuning software and did a great job. So if you have an automobile with a tunable ECU, like a Subaru, Mitsubishi or Honda Vtec. Look them up, they rocked for me.
