California to Washington Epic Road Trip

Our family road trip from Los Angeles to Seattle was full of fun! We saw every single capitol on the west coast (Sacramento, CA; Salem, OR; Olympia, WA) and stopped for a little sightseeing in Portland, too (Oregon Rail Heritage Center)! It took us 2 days (17 driving hours, plus stops) to get from Southern California to Kayak Point. Bonus: we just happened upon the Olympic Time Trials for Speed walking! We got to witness the winners learning the qualified to go to Rio 2016!
