The Quint| ‘Pet-rified’:Think Twice Before Patting A Tamed Lion HD

A man in Lahore, Pakistan, got the fright of his life when he went over to his friend’s house and tried to play with his pet. The friend’s pet? Only a tamed lion. Samba, a fully grown 13-month-old lion, jumped on the man as he tried to pet him. Luckily, the man escaped unhurt, as the lion’s handler was present nearby and got control of the situation. The owner of the lion, Sikander Ali had invited his friend over, whom he described as ‘curious’, to take a look at the unusual pet. However, as soon as he tried to pat the lion, it jumped on him, leaving the handler frozen in shock. The lion, who seemed annoyed by the sudden attention, chased Ali’s friend all the way to the other side of the balcony, much to his horror. As the caretaker controlled the lion, he ran from there to save his life. However, Sikandar Ali seems quite unconcerned about housing a wild animal. He asserts that Samba has never attacked anyone before. Ali’s friend also pledged that he would never dare to pat a lion ever again.
