On-board with Felix Baumgartner - Scirocco Cup HD

Enjoy this SmartyCam HD video of the stratosphere diver Felix Baumgartner in his Scirocco Cup racing debut. On 14 October 2012 the extreme sportsman skydived from a height of about 39 kilometres, the first man ever to break the sound barrier in free fall. The Volkswagen ambassador now tried his hand in the Scirocco Cup. It has been exciting to see Baumgartner performance on four wheels, climbing from 24th on the grid to 19th place. He said: "I could feel the adrenaline at the start! The race in the Scirocco-Cup was hugely enjoyable. It all kicks off out there on the track, and it is an unbelievably close affair. I got off to a really good start and did not finish last. I am happy with that. That will definitely not be the last you see of me. I will be back -- that much is certain!"
