BEST Silicone Cases for the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max? HD
Let’s face it, 40 dollars for Apple’s silicone case is borderline offensive. If you’re looking for something that has a similar texture AND is tougher, our pick goto silicone is the Ballistic Soft Jacket. BUT there is one thing on the Soft Jacket that the Apple Silicone case does better. That’s our take on silicone cases after trying ones from Spigen, Cyrill, ESR, Tekeways and Surphy. In general, any product that sounds weird and only has an Amazon store, stay away from it. Get the Ballistic Soft Jacket on Amazon! Amazon US: https://mreh.ca/37yKnYj Amazon CA: https://mreh.ca/2QMOmL6 Amazon UK: https://mreh.ca/2XJ0M86 Amazon DE: https://mreh.ca/35tKl28 Tekeways case ($23): When I got this case, I thought that I had hit the jackpot because the Tekeways case came with a pretty official looking Apple packaging. Then I took a closer look at it and realized that, much like the last Fantastic 4 reboot, everything about it is terrible. The build quality for this case is incredibly poor. The silicone is mangled, the microfibre is roughly cut and the corners do not fit the iPhone. The silicone texture is great for usage BUT terrible for pockets. The silicone also attracts everything in your pocket so get this case if you want to clean your pockets. The final kick to the face with the Tekeways case is that it’s not cheap. It’s $4 to -$5 dollars more than rest of the Amazon-only brands. And it is the only case that we’ve used that actually got dirty. Surphy Silicone case ($18): The Surphy case isn’t too bad. In fact, it’s one of the cheapest cases I tested, and I didn’t hate it completely. The bottom of the iPhone is covered, which adds to the protection of the case. The Surphy case is one of the largest cases in this list but that’s not a bad thing since the extra silicone is going to add to the impact protection for your overpriced iPhone. There are several pastel colors for you to choose from, so that’s nice? ESR Yippee Soft Case ($19): The ESR Yippee case is another run of the mill, pocket pulling, pant dropping Silicone case. Dust might be more of an issue since the silicone around the buttons and port areas is quite loose. The Surphy case has a similar designed bottom area but the silicone used in that product offers a bit of resistance whereas the silicone on the Yippee case has the pliability of a wet noodle. Ciel by Cyrill/Spigen Silicone Fit ($17): Now Ciel and Spigen are basically the same company. So what I say for this beige colored case will also go for the black Spigen case. Now what do you think I’m going to say about these silicone cases? Out of all these cases, the Ciel and Spigen Silicone case are the ones that mimic the Apple Silicone Case the most. Apple case ($55 fckin dollars): So the Apple Silicone case. A, thin, overpriced piece of silicone. I would almost consider it to be the Golden Goose of Apple’s iPhone accessory selection. But here’s the thing, the Apple Silicone case is the only one that
