Behringer B1 vs M-audio vs Blue Snowball microphone comparison. HD
Behringer B1 vs M-audio vs Blue Snowball microphone comparison. There is not a real winner in this test since all this microphones performed great they are all 16bit 44.1kHz sampling so the only difference is in microphone capsule and analog circuit. The Behringer B1 is an XLR microphone and used together with the Alesis Multimix 8 USB mixer that I will review in another video. I will say the Behringer B1 has the best performance then is the M-audio and last Blue Snowball but they are not that far apart. I used Ardour a free open source audio recorder to record all microphones at the same time. If you have multiple USB microphones you need to use alsa_in and alsa_out commands to be able to see this devices in Jack and be able to connect them to individual tracks in Ardour. I used a screen capture of Ubuntu 11.10 at the end of the video with Terminal, Alsamixer and Jack audio. This are all open source free software.
