Heil PR 40, Shure SM58 & Audio Technica ATR2100 Microphone Comparison HD

This podcast equipment video demonstrates the differences in 3 of the best podcasting microphones. Here are the times for each test. Description of all equipment: 0:00 - 8:10 Heil PR 40 Test: 8:11 Shure SM58 Test: 10:00 ATR 2100 XLR Test: 13:00 ATR2100 USB Test: 16:10 In this test I conduct a vocal comparison test on 3 great podcasting microphones, the Heil PR 40, Shure SM58, and the Audio Technica ATR2100. The audio from each mic is going into a Mackie 802-VLZ3 audio mixer, and then it is being recorded on a Zoom H2n digital audio recorder. No enhancements or post production has been done to clean up or improve the audio in any way. All of the EQs on the mixer are set in the neutral position.
