Mix Media Snail Mail with Scribble Sticks HD
What if the end of the celery stalk, that part that usually ends up in the trash or compost pile, were actually the first thing you used? That’s what happened in today’s Snail Mail! Shaped like a flower, this root end’s gorgeous design is a fantastic source of texture and can be used as a stamp. Letting it dry out for two or three days enhances the texture. A new box of Dina Wakley’s Media Scribble Sticks was calling my name. These water-soluble pigments can be dipped in water first or they can be hydrated on the page. As usual, this was an experiment and one of the cards had to be rescued from Snail Mail death.
