x plane 11 - Rheinland - Ruhrgebiet - Sauerland - VFR flight tour Rheinland-Ruhrgebiet-Sauerland tour - Flight no. 2 Introduction This is a flight of the Rheinland - Ruhrgebiet - Sauerland tour in my favourite plane: The Cessna 172 SP. I have an old school printed ICAO map Rhein-Ruhr 1:250.000 to plan my flights for that series (Edition 2016). My goal is to learn something new on every flight as a sim pilot - and maybe someday in the future as real private pilot. I want to share some flights with you and make you part of that journey: I invite you to fly the same routes and share your experience, recommendations and knowledge in the comments below. In this series: We are flying to every airport with a hardened runway which is located on the Rhein-Ruhr ICAO map. We will hand fly the Cessna (no usage of the autopilot). PS: Please let me know if anything is totally wrong ;) Briefing This is an VFR flight from Dortmund (EDLW) to Arnsberg (EDLA). Weather: clear - no wind Departure: Runway 24 Landing: Runway 23 We will follow highway A44. Near from the motorway junction A445 (city to the left with many churches is Werl) we fly a 90° right turn) to our destination. Maintain 2000 - 2300 ft during that flight. Debriefing -It was ok for the second video. Next time we can leave airspace D over checkpoint ECHO and follow the river Ruhr and railways to EDLA while flying in airspace E.
