Bad Condition! These are the 2 Asian Style OTIS Gen2 MRL Traction Lifts/Elevators at Top Town in New Plymouth, New Zealand. These lifts are in really bad condition and have been neglected since there installation in 2004 - The doors have problems, the leveling is off, there are an array of shaft noises, the cabs are filthy and the lights have been bodged - the original lights have been removed and a rubbish LED lights strip has been put in there place which provides inadequate lighting to the cab. To top it off it sounded like something dodgy was happening on the 2nd floor which is why I only went up there once!
