Otis Gen2 MRL Traction Elevators @ Durham College Centre For Collaborative Education, Oshawa ON HD

This is one of the new buildings at the Durham College/Ontario Tech University North Campus, and with new buildings, there’s bound to be brand new elevators. These are very nice brand new Otis Gen2 elevators with newer Series 4 fixtures that light up white. I know there will be confusion about differentiating between newer Series 2 and newer Series 4 fixtures, so I’ll explain it as best as I can here. Newer Series 2 fixtures are on a separate slab piece that mounts to the front wall beside the door, whereas newer Series 4 fixtures are on a one-piece COP that looks a lot classier, which is what these elevators have.
