Hosted by Andy Goldenberg TRANSCRIPTION Hi, my name is Andy Goldenberg and I am the Trailerist. Tonight, we get our first look at the international trailer to The Other Side of the Door. CUE: The Other Side of the Door LOGO So, do you want what’s behind door #1? Cue: Door Or Door #1? Cue: Door If you said Door #1, you’ve won a lifetime supply of DEATH! Cue: No matter what you do, you must not open the door. Ugh. So many rules. It’s a door. Okay, you know what? Let’s start back at the beginning when a son dies in a tragic car accident and a woman knocks on the door with a telemarketer proposal. Cue: What if I told you… Would anyone take this woman up on her offer? If they know each other, it’d be like, “Stop freaking the hell out of me” and if she doesn’t know her, it’d be like, “Stop freaking the hell out of me.” But, fine, for argument’s sake, let’s listen to what she has to say, because maybe she knows how to raise the dead. Cue: There’s a temple… Uh… yeah… so there’s this abandoned temple that is a gateway to the underworld. Oh, wow. I’ve never heard of that before. You’d think it would be on my Google Search of things to do when I moved here. What with everyone trying to bring back their dead friends and family. Well, it’s not as awesome as you think, because you can’t actually see anyone. You can just talk to them through a door. Oh. Okay. Why can’t I open the door? Because the dead must stay dead. Behind the door. Yes. And there’s no way out other than this door? No. They can’t get around the door. No. So, like, it’s gotta be a pretty strong door, right? Yeah, I mean, for the most part. It’s an abandoned temple. They didn’t have good building materials back then. It’s wooden. But there must be a lot of locks and whatnot. Very hard to open. Well, it’s like a 2 by 4 kind of locked in place so the dead can’t push their way through. Hmmm. Alright. So what’s the security like at this place where the dead people could be unleashed into the world. Oh, it’s abandoned. Anyone can get in there. Alright, sign me up. Cue: mommy I want to show you something. You know what? Next time, just lead with the fact that your dead brother is back, huh? Don’t beat around the bush by playing piano for three seconds and forcing me to realize that some ghost is playing chopsticks with you. Look what’s behind the other side of the door March 11.
