Vintage Westinghouse Traction Elevators at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel Downtown San Francisco

Video of the nice and old elevators at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. These elevators still have the original call buttons. This have a nice ride quality and the exterior doors on every floor except L and LL (Lobby & Lower Lobby/Level) are REAL wood. You can tell because you can hear that when the door opens and closes, the sound is quite a bit different. It is a very nice hotel. [Emporis fail: The page on this hotel on the site used to say the year it was completed: 1928. (Elevators are original from then; just quite a bit modernized.) It no longer says the year of construction.
