Soulful, intimate, revealing and deeply personal originals deliver a raw intensity and emotional honesty that resonates with audiences while paying homage to giants like Etta James, Koko Taylor, James Brown, “Exile on Main St.”-era Rolling Stones and Aretha Franklin. Their live performances feature an impressive selection of classic songs by Blues legends such as Roy Buchanan, Big Mama Thorton, Ruth Brown, Tina Turner and others, delivered in their own unique style. Gayle Harrod leads the band with her soulful, round-tone, smooth-as-silk and strong-as-a-hurricane vocals. Drummer Chuck Ferrell delivers tight, in-the-pocket funky groove-oriented beats.
