The Raider is found with its power generators intact, from which large quantities of the unearthly element Elerium are extracted. The battle in the sky continues to rage, as a second Raider is detected. Armed with the new Laser Cannon interceptor weapon, Lieutentant "Lunchbox" Turnbull takes to the sky in his Raven and accomplishes an unbelievable perfect shoot-down on the UFO, raising morale tremendously and earning a promotion to Captain. The Raider goes down in flames, impacting in the forest near the Rocky Mountains.
