The scariest moment of my life was when everyone thought I’d died, so they arranged my funeral. The last thing they expected was for me to show up! Let me tell you what happened. So really, my life was perfect. I’d just left school, I had a lot of really close friends, and I had a great relationship with my parents. The closest people in my life were my boyfriend, Alex, and my sister, Erica. The three of us hung out all the time, usually playing video games and messing around. But one morning, everything changed when I got a phone call. I had applied for an internship at a huge company, and they called me for an interview! I didn’t expect much to come of it, to be honest, but a few days later, they were asking me when I could start! The only problem was, the job was 200 miles away in another city. When I told everyone about it, I thought they’d be really supportive… but they weren’t. My mom and dad, and friends kept telling me I wasn’t cut out to live on my own in a big city. Worst of all, was my boyfriend and sister. Alex and Erica just kinda shrugged it off. They were being really weird, and that got me thinking – was there something going on between my boyfriend and my sister? I mean, we were together a lot, but was I being crazy? Weirdly, my boyfriend offered to drive me to my new job, so I said sure and we set off for my new life. The journey was super quiet, and halfway there, Alex turned to me and said: “it’s not gonna work with us being in different cities. We should break up!” Oh my god. His words made me feel sick. I told him to pull over, but Alex said he couldn’t because we were in the middle of nowhere. I demanded he stop the car, so finally, he did. I jumped out and nearly puked, then after a few minutes, Alex joined me. He rubbed my back as I was hunched over, but suddenly, we heard a car engine behind us. We turned around, and some guy had jumped in our car!
