Smelting PCBs Printed Circuit Boards (Part 1)
An overview of our smelting operation. In our proposed recycling system, we use a 500-kg per hour automatic dismantling machine, manufactured by Suny recycling equipments (link below). Components of PCBs from dismantling machine, are subjected to pyrolysis using a 50-kg per batch unit manufactured by Mr. Asad Farooqui which is being installed in Switzerland. The pyrolysis unit produces ash, and fuel from components. Then ash which contains the precious metals are mixed with fluxes and lead and silver, and smelted. Since our smelting operation produces lead oxide fumes, we use a series of filters, scrubber and bag house to collect all of the fumes, and bags get smelted once a year to recover the lead collected in them. If you are interested to learn more, please leave comments or email me. There is a second part to this video that shows the refining stage and melting the gold. Thanks and enjoy Kj
