LVM mazais ērglis Betiņsala - Lesser Spotted Eagle

Mazais ērglis Ligzda atrodas AS “Latvijas valsts meži” valdījumā esošā mežā, mazo ērgļu monitoringa parauglaukumā “Murmastiene”, netālu no Murmastienes ciema. Ērgļi šeit sekmīgi ligzdoja 2018. gadā. 2019. gadā mātīte izdēja olu, kas gāja bojā cīņas laikā ar svešu mātīti. 2020. gadā ērgļi neligzdoja un apmeklēja ligzdu neregulāri. Lesses Spottes Eagle The nest is located in a forest managed by the Latvian State Forests, on a Lesser Spottes Eagle monitoring plot called “Murmastiene”, near the village of Murmastiene. In 2018 eagles had a succesful nesting here. In 2019 female laid an egg which didn’t survive during a battle with another female. Eagles were seldomly seen in this nest during 2020.
