iPhone 5S : iOS 9.3.5 vs iOS 11 Final. Planned Obsolescence? Futuremark Slingshot HD

With every new iOS release there are always voices saying that Apple is making older iPhones slower in order to sell more new devices. In other words Planned Obsolescence. So is that true?, is Apple putting out new versions on older hardware to slow them down, or are they keeping older devices "alive" by still updating them with the latest features and functions. In this test I will compare iOS 9.3.5 to iOS 11 on iPhone 5S and try to see if there are signs of Planned Obsolescence.
