Kodi on the NVIDIA SHIELD TV with flawless refreshrate switching HD

The NVIDIA SHIELD TV now supports frame-rate switching for both 1080p (HD) and 4K (UHD) at 23.976 to 60Hz depending on what your TV/AVR supports. The 23.976 is what many movie enthusiast have been waiting for since the release of the NVIDIA SHIELD TV device. The NVIDIA developers have been working hard to achieve this goal and now with their 2.0 Firmware update this will be fully supported. Yours may be different. Another feature that has been added is support for H.264, H.265, VC-1,MPEG-2, WMV9, and VP9 hardware decoding. Additionally the NVIDIA SHIELD TV now also supports pass-through of HD audio (DTS-HD / TrueHD). However currently this is not yet supported by Kodi on the Android platform.
