From Lukla to Everest Base Camp in Six Days March 2022 HD

A trek from Lukla to Everest Base Camp in six days. It is possible but not recommended. We flew into Lukla and trekked to Phakding where we slept at the Trekkers Lodge. The following day we trekked to Namche Bazaar and stayed at the International Footrest Hotel right along the Main Street. On the third day we trekked to Pangboche where we lodged at the Everest View Lodge enjoying a well deserved rest. On day 4 we did a short trek to Pheriche and stayed at the Everest Trekkers Lodge which is a new hotel and very nice. Day 5 found us at The Pyramid which is a 15 minute trek beyond Lobuche along a side trail which is well marked. Day 6 we trekked the final length of the journey to Everest Base Camp and enjoyed the fruits of our exhausting labor. On the same day we returned to Gorak Shep and caught a helicopter back to Lukla so we could be in Kathmandu the following day. It is possible but not recommended. All the lodges mentioned above I was very happy with and would recommend to others. In Lukla there is an Everest Burger Restaurant which is my favorite place for eating in Lukla. Sadly I didn’t see many animals which is what I like to photograph. That being said I did see some Himalayan Tahr, a few species of birds and lots of yak in the higher altitudes.
