The folding frame makes it easy to transport, allowing the aircraft and all of its accessories to be carried in a hard-sided case from GPC, which fits in the overhead bin on an airliner. The AD1 features a front-mounted, two-axis gimbal with an extremely robust vibration dampening system. It also includes an analog First-Person View (FPV) system with a video switch and a second video camera hard-mounted to the frame.
