HP DV5 1134tx laptop overheating problem Part 1

I have had this laptop now for 2years and a few days. I know this because I bought it just before I got married. Anyway it has had a problem with overheating and causing the machine to run very slowly so I cracked it open to check the quality of the thermal paste as I am aware the paste is not very good quality from the manufacturers. I should have done a tutorial on pulling it apart as it was a pain in the A$$ to pull apart.
