Asad Owaisi Met Governor With Demand For Retrial in Mecca Masjid Blast Case HD

The chief of All India Majlis-e-Ittehad Muslimeen (AIMIM) Asaduddin Owaisi met Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan on Thursday over the Mecca Masjid blast case verdict pronounced earlier this week. The verdict had acquitted all the accused. Following his meeting, Owaisi told ANI, “We brought to the notice of the Governor that the whole prosecution was compromised and it was conducted by a lawyer who has never conducted a murder trial. It is proof that the NIA was acting at the behest of the BJP government.”
