Vlog #4: Ice Fishing for Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, and Other Panfish HD

This is my fourth vlog (video blog) filmed December 23 and 24, 2016. It shows what it takes behind the scenes of a typical pond ice fishing trip for panfish. I was jigging with ice jigs and swedish pimples tipped with spikes while ice fishing without a flasher or tent, and my friend Ron was jigging ice dots and using tip ups with minnows. I showed winter fishing tips and techniques along the way while ice fishing, and I ended up catching bluegill, pumpkinseed sunfish, hybrid sunfish, black crappie, and largemouth bass. Ron caught all the same species in addition to a bullhead.
