iPhone 11 Pro Max Real World Video Test | Is it the Ultimate Thru Hike Camera / Device? HD

I recently picked up the iPhone 11 Pro Max and took it out on the trail to give it a test run for video. As someone who films so many videos out on trail I had to admit the thought of having an ultrawide, wide, and tele at my finger tips without having to carry actual camera gear was quite intriguing. Add to that exceptionally good battery life, the ability to film and edit 4k 60fps video on the go, upload direct from device, no need to transfer footage from camera to device, borderline waterproofness, the general light weight of the device, the OUTRAGEOUS stabilization etc etc you should be able to easily understand why this maybe the ultimate device for the thru hiker or just someone who wants to take casual footage while out on trail. I have to admit I am pretty much shocked at how well this footage looks. I have used gopros, older cellphones, dslrs, mirrorless cameras, etc etc and the quality that I am getting from the iphone 11 pro max, while may not being as great as some of the options, is absolutely astounding to me. Does it have some over sharpening and saturation, sure. Is the audio that great, meh. Full manual control? Only with additional apps. But for a run and gun all in one setup this thing is absolutely amazing. Pair it with an external mic for talking stuff and you have what in my opinion is probably the best all around thru hiker camera / phone all in one combo. The links below are affiliate links.
