M4A3 Sherman Restoration (track installation and engine start up).

This restoration is being done by the Museum of the American G.I. in College Station, Texas. In this video, we install the track on the tank, and at the end, we finally get to start it for the first time, and listen to that awesome GAA roar. Then we drive it into the building under its own power. This M4A3 Sherman is one of two restorations currently going on at the living history museum. We are also in the process of restoring an M4A1. The Museum of the American G.I. is a living history museum dedicated mainly to WW2 era equipment and weapons.
