It was impressive considering the team played without Porzingis, who sat out with right knee soreness. Eventually, Porzingis would never return to the series, as his knee issue ended up being more serious than initially thought, and the Mavs lost the last two games of the series despite Luka’s heroics. The series didn’t go to waste, however, as Dallas proved they could hang with the best of the best.
